  2. For those who have not used academic databases before, they can be quite daunting. From the sheer number of databases available or to the large number of articles found. Learning how to use these valuable tools is something every student should do. Guides like this can serve as a wonderful introduction on some basic search techniques. While librarians are available to assist students in their searches, learning to be self-sufficient when performing research is certainly a skill worth developing. You had an excellent pacing on your presentation; it was easy to follow and showed how to find a very specific topic. This process could be replicated rather easily by most after one viewing of this video I imagine. The distinction between full text databases was a very good insight as well. I know I got a bit annoyed at the databases before I realized that some of them were abstracts or references only. It was always fun to think you’d found the perfect article only to realize the full article wasn’t there.

  3. What a great video, USF has changed their library webpage quite a few times since I been a student and it can be sometimes daunting when you are first confronted with the new changes. A video like yours would be helpful not only for first timers but also in situations in which new changes have been made to the webpage. I liked your video very much it was easy to follow and understand.
